I spent 11 years of my career at KPMG where I left as a Director in Advisory specialized in new revenue standard adoption. I saw the good, the bad, and the ugly of projects of all sizes and saw the extraordinary challenge firms face in communicating consistent interpretations to their professionals, let alone their clients. In fall of 2015, I joined Glassdoor as the Director of Technical Accounting and Revenue, with the intention to understand how things really got done on the “other side.” After automating processes, closing the books, and building a team - I left humbled by the view of what really happens after the conceptual conversation is over. 

 
In April of 2017, I left Glassdoor to help companies overcome the monumental task of implementing the wave of new accounting standards. As interpretations under the new standard continue to be in flux and resources versed in all of the interpretations simply do not exist, I believe we are challenged to think smarter. 

My vision is to create a space focused on building knowledge within your team, and supporting a community of talented professionals multiply their impact by building on each other’s expertise. This is modeled after what I considered to be the single most effective resource in helping companies conclude, Industry forums and the AICPA Tasks Forces. 

I believe the expertise lies within our teams. If we come together, our ideas get stronger and progress happens faster.
